This kite is the result of over a year of design and engineering work, with the goal of realizing an updated and modern interpretation of this classic kite shape. Over 50 iterations of the design were prototyped and tested.
The combination of high quality 1.5oz ripstop with 2mm carbon fiber rods makes for an extremely light and durable kite. With wind at your back, it soars into the air with ease.
The carrying bags were designed and sewn at our studio in Detroit, Michigan. The labels were hand screen-printed.

The Box Kite is modular, which allows you to connect up to 5 kites forming an impressive train. Each kite includes a connector kit, allowing you to easily add kites in the future as you advance your kite flying skills.
